365 Reasons to Love |
This blog was originally a blog of pictures/daily posts of my life when I was in college. I made it to day 64 and stopped around there because life was crushing down on me. So 6 months later, I just felt like picking it up again. I'm thinking it's also a good way of keeping track of my art books. Became somewhat of an amateur collector. Of course there are more awesome review blogs out there, but this would be mainly for my own enjoyment and happiness. =] |

A beautiful volume of color illustrations from the creator of Peach Girl. Book comes in a little bit bigger than A4 size, published by Tokyopop. The book claims that the illustrations are printed in special Japanese Ink, but I don’t really know anything about that. Most of the book are pictures of Momo in cute outfits, however retro they may be. 3/4 of the book is dedicated to peach girl, while the rest are other works of Miwa Ueda. Comes with four detachable posters that contain illustrations on both sides.

Nice rice paper cover page.

Since Momo is so tanned, her pictures are very saturated.

Includes: Peach Girl 1997-1998 Works, Peach Girl 1999 Works, Peach Girl 2000 Work.

The fashion is very vintage.

Pre-Peach Works (1) Glass Hearts, Pre-Peach Works:

My favorite picture out of the whole book. XD
(2) Angel Wars and Other Works:

A bonus section called ‘Peach Plus: Miwa Ueda’ in which the creator talks about the inspiration for her work.

Also includes four bonus pin-up posters, periodically placed throughout the book. The other side is another poster illustration but I’ll save that as a surprise.

Considering the cost of the book now, I think it’s a pretty good deal. You can get it for about $2-3 on amazon now. I use to really love reading the manga, but I was just too tired of getting angry at Sae and the drama of high school.
