365 Reasons to Love |
This blog was originally a blog of pictures/daily posts of my life when I was in college. I made it to day 64 and stopped around there because life was crushing down on me. So 6 months later, I just felt like picking it up again. I'm thinking it's also a good way of keeping track of my art books. Became somewhat of an amateur collector. Of course there are more awesome review blogs out there, but this would be mainly for my own enjoyment and happiness. =] |

This was the first artbook I purchased. I was able to get it for a very good price since this is the American release of the artbook. It’s still going for a good low price on amazon at the moment. I was very happy with this being my first artbook since it’s a very lovely artbook indeed. It covers the first half of the Tsubasa anime; it has most of the main characters. Book comes in A4 size.

Colors are very vibrant and has many two page spreads!

Doesn’t Fai D. Flowright look downright sexy in this picture?! XD

(note): I won’t be scanning any of these pictures since it really kills the book when it’s smushed into the scanner. I love my artbooks too much to do that to them. Besides, more high resolution scans can be found on the internet.

I also will try to post a lot of pictures, but not every picture in the book since that really takes away the surprise right? Then again, I do like it when other people post the whole artbook. We’ll see. I’ll probably be more selective.

Most of the book is full page with a couple being 2-3 smaller pictures on one page. However, the full two-page spreads really makes up for it. The pictures do get lost in the gutter though.

Still, the spreads do turn out well.

hnnnng. ^^

There’s also a cute short story at the end of the art book. Luckily, this is the english version so the story is in english. =] A great plus for non-japanese speaking people like me.

At the very end of the books are little thumbnails of the pictures with a bit of information about where and when it was released. Translated as well.

The back cover.
Overall, it is a very satisfying artbook. Coming from CLAMP, not much can go wrong. I especially love the fluffy, snowy, detailed effects in each picture. You can tell a lot of heart and effort is put into every picture. Also, for such a good price, I really wouldn’t miss out on this artbook. ^^
